Lady of the Moon III

I sit in the candlelit dark
and wonder
Do thoughts of me come to you
to grow fonder??

I must confess-
Do my thoughts obsess??
Do I carry my father's geneWhich bequeath the need to possess??
Or am I simply wanting your caress??

Alas I do not believe these thoughts to be true
For that which holds, are my feelings for you.
