Conrad's forgotten

You stare at me
From far away
You stare at me
How does this work exaclty-

I look over and see the dark eyes
The lush jungle of your life
Undulates and lets parrots fly
There is a tiger patrolling for strife.

I'm no great hunter
Very far from that
And in these sacred places
I've my waters fill

The dark mountains carrying the mist of wisdom
Mystic eyes as rainbows of insight's sky
Captured stillness in the cool pools of thought
And just beyond the canopy the inviting unknown.

The exploration just begun
As I come undone
And law down next to the trees
For all creatures to see
And return by closing my eyes
To rejoin the skies
Carried by parrot cries

it's about a girl I don't know well or really at all. She has a profound affect on me with her words and works and speech. I am enthralled by her but it is ridiculous for me to be so as I don't know her, so it boils to infatuation...but on an intellectual level. So I am confused.
The imagery is of a lush jungle with mystery, wonder and a beauty. It's how I think of her within this poem.

I'm always up for a poem about parrots...penquins even more! I don't know what it is, but penquins are so damn cute!

I had on idea I had such a profound effect on you...ha!

Serioulsy, I've been reading through all of your stuff here and I love it! I love reading other people's works and learning how they view things - no two people view the same thing the same way and it has always fascinated me...as do you!

By name I am a player, by design I am so much more.

SWAYER: yes, you seem to be that. and the people i meet here seem to be that too. which lead me to post that thing about impressions. imagine if we all met outside of this void. would we realize what lies beneath?? i would hope so, but would be ever?? and do we realize this about the people around us now?? and are they willing to show us??

I don´t know where are you from. I don´t know where you have written this. I Don´t know your thoughts, Damn I don't even know you. Probably we are separed by miles of land or sea, and to worse the things up, I may see we are distant in ideas as well.

You asked if someone is ready to show what lies beneath one's impressions. Well, my opinion is that everyone is willing to show them impressions, they just don't know when and how. The human being is a communicative animal, we must express ourselves, and our impressions have no end, therefor we have to release it, otherwise we will be accumulating thoughts, fact that surelly will disturb us throwing us to loneliness.

Keep up the good poetry.

So Crow/Agno Bios - points well noted. I'd like to think that if we had met somewhere in person like a cafe or the such, that we'd strike up a clever, witty and thoughtful conversation. You are so interesting to me and I'm sure we'd just sit and talk for hours.

AGNO: I think these impressions are like animal footprints. if you know how to track (in human tern discern and formulate) then you can tell what kind of animal, how much they way, if they are tied or pregnant, etc. we as humans i think do the same thing...
"...otherwise we will be accumulating thoughts, fact that surelly will disturb us throwing us to loneliness..."
If you could elaborate I would appreciate.

SWAYER: We have to get passed this damn veneer. And we probably could, but I just hope it would happen.

ADREEYIN: There's new stuff all over the place...manga fata groso

Well what I was trying to say is that holding for ourselves too much thoughts, can never be considered a good thing. You see, we need to release our thougts in order to be understood by the sorrounding society.
When people are no understood they will surelly feel alone, at least alone, well I think.

Anyway sorry for my english but I'm sure you don't speak Portuguese the way I do, eh eh.

Hey! About the new poems, well congratulations you are the Poet, Man!
